ICC Champions Trophy Cricket Betting Tips/Predictions/Odds Mumbai

The ICC Champions Trophy, a one-day international cricket tournament is organized by ICC (International Cricket Council) since 1998 and 2002 (when the name of the tournament was actually changed to “ICC Champions Trophy”). The event is second only to perhaps the Cricket World Cup Series. And in this year, 2017, the ICC Champions Trophy is going to be held in England from 1st June 2017 to 18h June 2017. The eight teams who were ranked the highest according to the ICC in 2015 will be starting in this one-day tournament in England. These teams include England, Australia, India, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.

Conducted every four years, the ICC Champions Trophy is undoubtedly a high-stakes event with incredible matches and unpredictable results on the horizon. Even the team rankings by the ICC were somewhat of a surprise for 2017. For, not only is this the first time West Indies didn’t qualify for the tournament but Bangladesh, who hasn’t made the cut for the ICC Champions Trophy in eleven years, is the team then replaced the West Indies team for this tournament.

England already has the pride of place for being the first and only country to host the ICC Champions Trophy event twice (in 2004 and 2013). And now, England having to host the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy will make this England’s third time to host the tournament.

As for the winning ICC Champions Trophy betting predictions and the requisite ICC Champions Trophy betting tips, here’s how it stands thus far: There is no doubt that all 8 teams are strong contenders for the prize this year. And as England ranked first in the ICC world cricket rankings for the 2017 edition of the ICC Champions Trophy and Bangladesh ranked seventh, the majority of predictions is in England’s favor. However, other than Sri Lanka in 2002, there has yet to be another event of the host country being the ICC Champions Trophy winners. And while Bangladesh ranks last at the moment, it cannot be discounted that they usurped West Indies, a hitherto regular contender for the ICC Champions Trophy, to gain their position in the tournament. Also, in 2013, when England hosted the tournament just like it will in June 2017, India won the tournament. Then again, England might well be the second host to win the tournament this year. And, not considering Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and South Africa’s strong performances in the test series for their chances at winning 2017’s ICC Champions Trophy tournament would be a folly.
Exciting matches await us this year in June!
